December Celebrations

This month has been filled with back-to-back family parties.

First weekend in December
We celebrated Grandma's 80th birthday in Reno with the paternal side of Brian's family.

Second weekend in December 

We spent time with the maternal side of Brian's family.  The two little girls (pictured below) are Brian's second cousins.  They are both adorable; I had so much fun snapping pictures of them!

Third weekend in December
On Friday night, I practiced Christmas songs with the Joyful Noize choir.  I'm excited to sing the verses of Jesus, Born on This Day during Mass. 

On Saturday, we gathered at my parent's house to celebrate Christmas with my dad's extended family.  In the picture above, Eden and Cooper patiently wait to open presents.
 

It's been two years since my dad's mom passed away.  In her honor, my mom set out two bouquets of yellow roses (her favorite) on the dining tables.  It was a beautiful tribute to a beautiful woman.

And we're not done yet!  We'll be celebrating Christmas with Brian's family on December 24 and with my family on December 25.

We are blessed to be surrounded by such great family.
