Fun with the Karreman Family

Two weeks ago, Brian's sister, Lori, and her family stayed the night at our house--and the eight of us had a ton of fun together.

I spent a fair amount of time behind the lens, which always brings me joy.

Here are some of my favorite shots:

Playing in the sandbox.  Aren't the boys' matching straw hats adorable?  (Thanks, Lori!)

Climbing...and then sliding.  I love that the boys are so close in age: Sammy is 15 months and Noah is 18 months.

Eating dinner.  Brian made delicious spicy sausage pasta.  If you haven't tried it yet, you should.  It's so yummy.  Matt called it "macaroni and cheese for adults," and boy is he right.

Reading.

Bathing.  Hairdos courtesy of Hailey and Courtney.

Enjoying the outdoors.

Eating breakfast.

Playing peek-a-boo.

Enjoying time under the sheet.  It was so special to observe all four cousins--Hailey, Courtney, Sammy and Noah--playing together.

Watching (and interacting with) an app called Nighty Night!

Noah loved it.

Brian and Lori hanging out, chatting and watching the kids.

We sure enjoyed spending time with the Karreman family.  Hopefully, they'll come back and visit us again next summer.
