In Place of a Color Inspiration Challenge

Sorry to disappoint you, but I will NOT be submitting a card this week for Kristina Werner's Color Challenge. Why you ask?

Well, first off, I abhor two of the four colors: More Mustard and Really Rust.

Secondly, Kiwi Kiss is an in color, so I know I don't have it. Nor do I have anything remotely close to it. But more importantly, it reminds me of lima beans, which I also abhor.

(Remember that children's book, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day? Alexander hated lima beans, too, which made me like him all the more. To this day, it's still one of my favorite children's books.)

Which leaves me with Whisper White. Now, I know my cards are simple, but they aren't that simple.

So, instead, I decided to make up a few super easy cards using a package of small circles from Heidi Swapp. I just purchased this adorable pack at Green Tangerines yesterday, so I was eager to create something, anything with them.

Here's the first card I made today. With kraft cardstock as my base, I adhered the smile tag (with SU! dimensionals), a piece of white cardstock, a punched butterfly, and a rhinestone to the card.

I loved the first one so much that I made a second one. (Why is it that when you see the word "smile" you can't help but grin?!)

Then, I decided to use three tags, so I simply positioned the card vertically instead of horizontally and adhered the circles.

Here's a close-up of the second vertical card.

And I have 24 more circles left.

Now that's definitely something to {smile} about!
