London & Paris Layouts

Journaling reads: "1. Posing with a guard outside St. James Palace 2. Westminster Abbey, built in 960 A.D. was deemed the "coronation" church in 1066 when William the Conqueror was crowned. 3. Near Buckingham Palace 4. All of the parks in Notting Hill are gated and private. That explains why Hugh Grant had to "jump the fence" in the movie, "Notting Hill." 5. We called home from a red telephone booth like this one! 6. Brian and I couldn't believe how many people were beheaded on the Tower Hill. That's just one of the many fun facts we learned from the Beefeater tour guide. 7. Changing of the Guard"

Journaling reads: "1. We had lunch at a cafe in the garden of Tuileries (near the Louvre). The gardens, lawns, statues and basins were beautiful! 2. Versailles--30 minutes outside of Paris 3. For 11 Euros, we rode to the top of the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower was so much bigger than I thought it would be and it brightens and sparkles every hour. 4. We went to Mass at the Notre Dame Cathedral. Inside, the "rose" stained glass windows were my favorite. 5. Saint Chappelle Church; 6, 500 square feet of stained glass. 6. Artist painting 7. The Louvre where we viewed "Mona Lisa" (the portrait was smaller than I thought it would be)"
