I'm a huge fan of the California State Fair!
And this year, the fair is opening much earlier than it normally does--which I think is a really good thing.
In years' past, having the fair from mid-August to early September meant that many families couldn't attend because their kids were back in school.
But this year, kids and adults alike can enjoy the food, rides, exhibits, and animals.

The fair runs from now through August 1st.
