Faux Polaroids & Clotheslines

In June, Brian and I went shopping at IKEA. While browsing the showroom floor, we came across these adorable metal clotheslines hanging on a wall...and I just had to have them.

They are just perfect for hanging pictures of loved ones--family members and friends and doggies--on the wall in my office/scrapbooking room.

And these faux Polaroids are super easy to make, too.
White card stock, pictures, a paper trimmer, and pen are all you need to create them.

If you can't seem to find a picture of your friends (because you've failed to organize your pictures in any coherent type of system), check out Facebook. You can save any pictures to your computer and upload them to a developer or print them out at home. Sometimes the quality isn't the best, but it works in a pinch, especially when you are trying to finish a project quickly.

In the future, I may also display greeting cards on the clotheslines, but for now, I'm excited to have such special people and animals hanging around in my work space.

Cute idea for the pictures.

We got those for the boys toyroom and hang all the artwork they bring home from school across one wall.
