CA State Fair Entries Due Soon

Attention crafty California family members and friends...

Do you have any greeting cards or scrapbook layouts that you'd like to enter in the California State Fair?

How about a photograph or two?

Or a piece of handmade jewelry?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, now is the time to register your goods.

The entry deadline is this Friday, April 22, 2011.

Keep in mind, that you only have to register your entry (or entries) and pay the fees now.

You don't have to actually ship or deliver the item(s) to Cal Expo until May.

Plus, online registration is available this year, and it's super easy!

During spring break next week, I'll be creating one more greeting card (I've already finished three) as well as a Notre Dame scrapbook layout.

I may enter a photograph, too. :-)

I'm still on the fence, though, because it's more pricey to enter photographs ($20) and I know tons of professional photographers enter their work in the Fair.

If you're not the artsy type, but love going to the Fair, be sure to mark your calendars--the 158th State Fair will run July 14-31, 2011.
