Tweeting Away

In May, I jumped on the Twitter bandwagon.  (I know, I'm a little late to the party.)

I'm only 11 tweets in, but I'm having fun with it.

Most of the time, I use Twitter as a means of sharing links I like, such as an article I found interesting or a video that resonated with me.

For example, I tweeted about this blog post, which discusses how to care for introverts and extroverts.

Occasionally, I'll tweet about something funny or exciting or silly happening in my life.

Such as the day I visited Sportsman's Warehouse for the first time.  My tweet read: Camo bikini?  No thank you.  Hiking shoes?  Yes please.  Or the night I was putting a diaper on Noah when the diaper tab came off in my hand.  That tweet read: You know you're ripped when the diaper tab snaps off in your hand.

Just recently, I learned that I can post my Instagram pictures on Twitter.  The picture above, taken during our June camping trip at Lake Antelope, was posted on Instagram as well as Twitter.

Being a total Twitter newbie, I still don't have it all figured out.  For instance, I don't quite get what a hash tag is, nor do I know how to shorten a link.

Perhaps, those of you with Twitter accounts can enlighten me.

If you do tweet, let me know, so I can follow you.

Likewise, if you're interested in viewing more of my tweets, you can follow me at: jrharless.
