Happy Birthday, Lucy!

Yesterday, Lucy turned five! (She doesn't look very happy about it, does she?!) I can't believe she's been part of our family for almost that long...she came home with us in January 2004.

Lucy still has the energy of a puppy sometimes, which truly amazes me, but she has an excuse...she's a Labrador!



And here's a picture of Lucy's mellow brother, Rudy, whose birthday is unknown. Rudy came to us through Lab Rescue, so we're not sure exactly when he was born. We think he's about 3 1/2 years old...or so. And he's not a purebred Lab; he's part Lab and perhaps, part Sharpei, which helps to explain why he's so much calmer.
